APASCOVI, a leading entity in the Community of Madrid, is dedicated to meeting the different needs of people with intellectual disabilities from birth to adulthood. Among its programs stands out the Socio-laboral skills, whose objective is to provide participants with the social and work skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment.
An essential part of this program is the improvement of communication skills. From this need arose the idea of holding a radio workshop, led by a professional specialized in this medium in collaboration with the Foundation.
During the solidarity action, the APASCOVI team visited our delegations in Madrid, Asturias, Salamanca and Barcelona, carrying out interviews that were as exciting as they were fun.
These sessions not only provided a platform for practicing communication skills, but also fostered an environment of understanding and collaboration between GME and APASCOVI.
The radio programs were a resounding success and an example of García-Munté Energía's commitment to APASCOVI and social responsibility and the integration of people with disabilities into society and the world of work.
